Greg believes that connecting with clients on multiple levels is the cornerstone of being a dependable advisor. He knows that complex financial decisions involve not only wealth management; they must also consider emotional and uniquely personal goals and aspirations.
Trust is a necessary ingredient for lasting relationships. Greg earns that trust by demonstrating a commitment to putting the needs of clients first. He ensures they understand both the process and products that will help to attain immediate and long-term financial goals.
Greg is a CFA Charterholder as well as a qualified pension actuary. This rare combination makes him uniquely suited to develop investment strategies and provide financial guidance in a world of risk and uncertainty.
Greg assists clients in all of Lawton Partners’ areas of expertise including retirement planning, savings and investment strategies, financial education and risk management, as well as tax and estate planning. Business clients also benefit from his unparalleled pension expertise, where he helps assess suitability and manages individual pension plans for professionals, executives, and company owners.
Many life choices directly affect finances. Greg’s actuarial and investment expertise help his clients identify the impact of their choices, exploring with them the alternatives available to make the best decisions possible.
Prior to joining Lawton Partners in 2004, Greg was a vice president with a global actuarial and benefits consulting firm, where he provided pension, actuarial, and investment services to individuals as well as businesses and organizations of all sizes.
As a life-long Winnipegger, Greg is committed to the economic and cultural success of the city. Over the years, he has served in various roles with the United Way and with CNIB, where he currently serves on its national investment committee.
