Before joining Lawton Partners in 1996, Cameron practiced for several years as a senior investment analyst with a major financial services company. This gave him an excellent foundation for working with clients, especially in helping them to clearly define and achieve their life and financial goals. Cameron’s impressive resume includes holding designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Fellow of Canadian Securities (F.C.S.I.), Certified Investment Manager (CIM), Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P.), and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in addition to being a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).
Cameron applies his wealth of expertise to developing unique and innovative investment, tax and estate-planning strategies that are comfortably-suited to the needs of his clients. Through the years, his practice has been built on a solid commitment to families seeking out practical, cost-effective strategies for wealth transfer and succession to the next generation.
Family is very important to Cameron and he treasures every moment spent with his wife Sally, their four children, Sara, Leah, Loch and Lindsay as well as the Inglis family’s Golden Retriever, Mitch. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, reading and cribbage as well as getting away to the cottage. In addition, he has dedicated his time to being involved with both Rotary International and with Scouts Canada as a troop leader.
