Sean first discovered his passion for the financial services industry while earning his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree at the University of Manitoba. As a student, he had an opportunity to work with one of the chartered banks and the experience piqued his interest in the field. After spending four years in Toronto, where he gained valuable experience at a leading investment management company, Sean came home to Winnipeg and joined Lawton Partners in 2001.
 
That fateful decision proved to be the right one. Day after day, Sean finds fulfillment in working closely with his clients, helping them to identify their financial needs and to determine appropriate and effective solutions that will put them on the right path toward reaching their goals.
 A busy family man, Sean and his wife Michelle have three young children. When time permits, Sean enjoys working up a sweat on the squash court or taking it easy in the great outdoors. Sean is a proud Manitoban who takes an active involvement in bettering his community. He volunteers with conservation group Ducks Unlimited Canada and assists United Way of Winnipeg in their annual capital campaign drive. In addition, Sean serves on the board of Advocis Winnipeg and is a member of the Winnipeg Executives Association.

Andrea Madison

Andrea joined Lawton Partners in 2004 after working in the not-for-profit sector. She joined Lawton Partners, seeing it as a well respected firm with values and priorities that she could easily share. Andrea enjoys working with Sean Lawton, assisting with the management of client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships.
